MED ZERO - (Tactical Combat Casualty Care +)
ADVANCED TACTICAL MEDICINE FOR PROFESSIONALS IN HIGH-RISK ENVIRONMENTS.
MED ZERO - (Tactical Combat Casualty Care +)
Med Zero is a six-day advanced tactical medical course, developed through a strategic collaboration between Sabre Consultancies Ltd, and our medical training partner, Solent Medical Skills, specialists in advanced clinical training.
This programme equips professionals to operate effectively in high-threat environments, where casualty evacuation timelines may be delayed or and specialist medical reach-back is limited.
The course comprises four days of advanced theory and practical instruction at the Solent Medical Skills Southampton training centre, followed by two days of immersive, realistic moulage scenarios (both individual and team) featuring: simulated small arms fire, pyrotechnics, and live action role-players at a nearby live simulation site.
Taught by a combination of former and current special operations personnel with operational experience in theatres such as Ukraine, Afghanistan and the African Theatres, Med Zero blends tactical and clinical training to prepare you for the realities of modern conflict medicine.
This course challenges conventional battlefield medicine by focusing on prolonged field care, resource-limited decision-making, and mass casualty management, preparing you to deliver effective care whilst operating within small teams.
Med Zero is a continually evolving course, exploring current operating procedures and lessons from modern conflicts. The course covers considerations such as counter and anti Unmanned Ariel Surveillance (UAS) at forward stabilisation facilities, enabling you to be prepared for deployment into a hostile environment
